A simple jester for a king,
I shall do his bidding.
But, truly, I am just a clown.
What harm can be found from a simple entertainer,
But perhaps my jokes are not funny,
Perhaps my music is rough, too sad?
Maybe I play to close
and the strings have now broken?
One by one they split
and the blood is spilled on the throne,
creating not only entertainment for our king,
but for you as well.
But why fear me?
I am but an entertainer,
a will-o-wisp in the light,
a simple clown in the darkness.
